SWREL Lands ₹1,470 Crore Wind-Solar Hybrid & PV Projects

Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy (SWREL) has secured two domestic letters of award (LoAs) from private independent power producers (IPPs).

The total order value for these three projects is Rs 1,470 crore, which includes taxes as well as operations and maintenance costs.

The first award is for a wind EPC hybrid project in Rajasthan. This involves the engineering, procurement, and construction of a 69.3 MW Wind Balance of Plant and a 58 MW AC/75 MWp DC Solar Balance of System, along with the development of a 132 kV/33 kV pooling substation.

Additionally, SWREL has been declared L1 (lowest bidder) for a turnkey 200 MW AC/260 MWp DC PV plant in Gujarat, awarded by a prominent PSU developer. The company has also secured an award for a PV plant in Rajasthan from a domestic IPP.
