Sun Drops Energia Powers Up Gujarat with 100 MW Solar Win!

Sun Drops Energia, a wholly-owned subsidiary of KPI Green Energy, has secured a second consecutive order from Avichal Power, this time for a 100 MW solar power project in Gujarat. The project will be executed in phases and is expected to be completed by FY 2026–27.

Delivered under a turnkey EPC model, the project scope includes complete engineering, procurement, and construction services. Sun Drops Energia will provide advanced module mounting structures, balance-of-plant materials, and will carry out all civil, structural, electrical, and instrumentation work. The company will also undertake end-to-end operations and maintenance of the plant over its lifecycle.

This significant order builds on the nearly 37 MW of solar projects previously awarded to the company under Gujarat’s renewable energy policy. It further reinforces Sun Drops Energia’s growing presence in India’s green energy landscape and highlights the country's accelerating shift toward sustainable and renewable energy solutions in alignment with national solar capacity goals.
