Speco Infrastructure to Tackle Thane Traffic with ₹199.88 Cr Flyover

Speco Infrastructure has secured the position of the lowest (L1) bidder for the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority’s (MMRDA) infrastructure initiative aimed at easing traffic congestion at the Teen Hath Naka Junction on the Eastern Express Highway in Thane, Maharashtra.

The company submitted a winning bid of ₹199.88 crore. The project involves constructing a U-loop flyover spanning 637 metres, with a carriageway width of 12–14 metres over a 127-metre stretch and 8.5 metres across the remaining 510 metres.

The construction timeline is set for 24 months, followed by a 60-month defect liability period to ensure quality and durability. This project is expected to significantly enhance urban mobility and connectivity in the Thane district.
