Southern Railway has issued a tender for Package II of the Guduvancheri–Chengalpattu four-lining project in Tamil Nadu. The project entails constructing a 21.496 km broad-gauge line to enhance regional corridor capacity. Work includes track-related civil works, signaling systems, electrical infrastructure, and utility relocation, with an estimated project cost of ₹273.26 crore. The deadline for bid submission is November 23, 2026.
