Solar Surge: GK Energy Installs 7,620 Pumps in 30 Days

GK Energy has successfully installed 7,620 off-grid solar pumps in Maharashtra, representing approximately 17% of the 45,911 solar pumps installed under the Guinness World Record achieved by the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company (MSEDCL).

The installations were completed within a tight 30-day window from 27 October to 25 November 2025, underscoring GK Energy’s operational excellence and capacity for large-scale execution. Beyond installations, the company served as Strategic Advisor to MSEDCL, playing a pivotal role throughout the project—from concept development and planning to stakeholder management and end-to-end execution.

The initiative was carried out under the Magel Tyala Saur Krushi Pump Yojana, a flagship scheme by the Maharashtra government aimed at promoting solar-powered off-grid irrigation systems. “GK Energy’s role in this initiative was critical to achieving such a milestone,” the company said.
