Sohra EPC-II: Bids Open for ₹115 Cr. Experiential Centre

The Department of Tourism, Meghalaya, has invited bids for the construction of the Sohra Experiential Centre at Saitsohpen, to be developed on an EPC-II basis.

The selected contractor will be responsible for detailed design and engineering, securing all required approvals, and preparing the site for construction, including temporary works and groundwork. The scope covers construction of the superstructure, internal and external finishes, installation of mechanical systems and facilities, preparation of a testing and commissioning plan, and seamless project handover.

The project is estimated to cost ₹114.93 crore and is targeted for completion within 24 months. The final deliverables will include all statutory licenses, permits, and a comprehensive project administration plan. A three-year defects liability and maintenance period will apply following completion.

The deadline for bid submission is 15 December 2025.
