Singareni Collieries Gets Battery, 1 MW/2.5 MWh ESS for Mandamarri Plant

The Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL), a government enterprise, has initiated a tender for the establishment of a cutting-edge Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) at its 28 MW Solar Power Plant situated in Mandamarri, Mancherial District, Telangana State. This project encompasses comprehensive services including design, engineering, supply, transportation, installation, testing, and maintenance for a duration of ten years.

The estimated worth of this ambitious endeavor stands at approximately INR 5 Crores. Prospective bidders are mandated to furnish an Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of INR 5 Lakhs as part of their tender submission.

In addition to the EMD, bidders are obliged to remit an e-procurement transaction fee, calculated at 0.03% of their quoted value, based on a landed cost framework. This transaction fee is subject to Goods and Services Tax (GST) at the prevailing rate of 18%. However, for this specific tender, the e-procurement transaction fee is capped at INR 10,000 for quoted values up to INR 50 Crores and INR 25,000 for values exceeding INR 50 Crores, with GST applied over and above these caps.
