Shivam Pipes, a 51% subsidiary of KD Green Industries Limited, has secured orders worth approximately ₹9.08 crore for the supply of galvanized steel tubular electric poles to electricity boards in India’s North Eastern region.
The company said the contracts have been awarded under the Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme (RDSS) and are scheduled to be executed within a delivery period of one to four months. The orders were received through contractors involved in power distribution projects for various government agencies and utility companies.
Shivam Pipes noted that it is an approved vendor for several electricity utilities across North Eastern states under the RDSS framework. The company markets its products under the “Xtech” brand.
The latest order win is expected to strengthen the company’s position in the region’s expanding power infrastructure sector, which is seeing increased investments in transmission and distribution networks through government-led initiatives. India’s North East region continues to attract attention due to its renewable energy and hydropower potential, along with ongoing rural electrification and grid modernisation projects.
The company said its empanelment with key utilities provides a strong platform for future growth, adding that continued government focus on electrification and infrastructure development is likely to sustain demand for galvanized steel tubular poles in the years ahead.
