Sanathan's Punjab Power Play: ₹2,100 Crore Plant Fuels FY26 Surge

Sanathan Textiles is poised for robust growth in FY26, backed by the imminent commissioning of its ₹2,100 crore greenfield manufacturing facility in Punjab. Spread across 80 acres with over 2.3 million sq. ft. of built-up area, the plant is dedicated entirely to the production of polyester filament yarns.

The first phase of commercial operations is expected to begin within the next three to four weeks. Once operational, the new facility is projected to contribute 60–70% of the company’s FY26 revenue, significantly boosting its topline. Sanathan has reaffirmed its revenue guidance of ₹4,500–4,800 crore for the financial year.

Currently, exports account for 4–5% of the company’s sales, but Executive Director Sammir Dattani anticipates strong upside potential. He cited the recent imposition of a 35% tariff on Bangladeshi textiles by the US as a key opportunity for Indian exporters, positioning India more competitively in global markets. Dattani also emphasized the urgency for India to scale up its manufacturing capacity—particularly in man-made fibres—to capitalize on shifting global demand.
