Saket Infraprojects L1 for NH-61 Two-Lane Upgrade in Maharashtra

Saket Infraprojects has emerged as the lowest bidder (L1) for the upgradation of a section of National Highway-61 (NH-61) in Maharashtra, with a quoted bid of ₹104.39 crore. The project involves converting the existing road into a two-lane carriageway with paved shoulders between km 37.850 and km 57.900, connecting Murbad to Kadampada.

Part of the Kalyan–Murbad–Malshej Ghat–Nirmal Road corridor, this stretch will be developed under the EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) mode. The corridor serves as a crucial link between semi-urban and rural areas and the tourist-frequented Malshej Ghat, enhancing connectivity to northern Maharashtra.

The upgradation is expected to boost road safety, reduce travel time, and improve transport efficiency—particularly for freight and agricultural goods. It is also anticipated to stimulate regional development by improving access to tourism and trade hubs.
