Rudra Global Powers Up: 30 MW Renewable Push in Gujarat

Rudra Global Infra Products, formerly known as MDICL, has announced plans to develop renewable energy projects totaling 30 MW in Gujarat, primarily for captive use. The company is currently working on a 3.3 MW wind energy project with an estimated cost of over ₹32 crore, expected to be completed by December 2025.

According to its exchange filing, Rudra Global has secured bank approval for approximately 75% of the project’s funding. Once operational, the new turbine will generate around 1.1 crore units of electricity annually, increasing the company’s total renewable energy capacity to 8 MW, with a cumulative annual output of 1.7 crore units.

Beyond wind energy, Rudra Global is actively pursuing solar and other renewable sources to reach its 25–30 MW target. The company emphasized its long-term commitment to sustainability and maximizing renewable energy use, with total planned project costs estimated at ₹32.28 crore.
