CtrlS Datacentres has raised ₹5,500 crore in debt financing to fund its ambitious 3.5 GW data centre campus in Hyderabad. State Bank of India (SBI) led the funding with a ₹4,000 crore sanction, while Central Bank of India contributed ₹1,500 crore.
The transaction is initially structured as project finance before transitioning into a Lease Rental Discounting (LRD) framework. Fully permitted with foundation work complete, Phase 1 is currently under execution to support hyperscalers, AI platforms, and enterprise cloud workloads, with building structures slated for completion within the next six months.
