₹460 CR GO! Kangra Airport Set for Major Expansion

Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has announced the disbursement of ₹460 crore for the expansion of Kangra Airport, a project expected to significantly enhance land value and boost tourist inflow upon completion.

The announcement was made during Sukhu’s visit to Gram Panchayat Tangroti in the Dharamshala Assembly constituency as part of the “Sarkar Gaon Ke Dwar” programme, where he also addressed local residents’ concerns.

Sukhu further noted that the state government has declared Kangra district as the tourism capital of Himachal Pradesh, with multiple tourism initiatives currently in progress across the region.
