₹200 Crore Retail Revolution: Bhumi World’s New Flagship

Bhumi World has announced plans to develop “The Outlet Mall of India,” a flagship retail project with an investment of approximately ₹2 billion. The mall is scheduled to be launched around mid-March 2026 and is expected to position Bhiwandi as a major lifestyle and consumption destination within the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR).

Strategically located in an area transitioning from a logistics hub into a broader economic zone, the outlet mall will operate on a 365-day discount model, offering year-round value shopping. The development will feature a curated mix of international and domestic brands across categories such as fashion, electronics, home décor, and food and beverage.

Beyond retail, the project is expected to contribute to economic growth by generating employment and serving as a catalyst for regional development. Prakash Patel, Chairman and Managing Director of Bhumi World, noted that the mall is envisioned not only as a shopping destination but also as a platform that brings global retail standards to the region. The project benefits from strong connectivity via major highways, further strengthening Bhiwandi’s presence on the MMR consumption map.
