The Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board (BWSSB) has issued a tender under the Karnataka Water Security and Disaster Resilience Program (KWSDRP) for the development of wastewater and sewerage infrastructure in the Bommanahalli Zone, covering 110 villages as part of Phase-II.
The project is divided into two major components:
Work A: Design, engineering, construction, and commissioning of wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs) with tertiary treatment capabilities, along with intermediate sewage pumping stations. This includes operations and maintenance for 10 years.
Work B: Procurement and construction of the rising main, main sewers, and laterals, executed in a hybrid mode. It also includes key infrastructure such as manholes and lift sewage pumping stations.
The total contract value is ₹179.12 crore, and the deadline for bid submission is 31 May 2025.
