₹172.65 Cr Tech Win for KS Smart Solutions in Punjab

Soma Papers & Industries’ subsidiary, KS Smart Solutions, has secured an order worth ₹172.65 crore from the Punjab School Education Department.

The project involves the deployment of IT infrastructure across government educational institutions in Punjab. This includes the supply of 23,846 mid-range desktop systems and 23,207 line-interactive UPS units. KS Smart Solutions will be responsible for the supply, installation, configuration, commissioning, and warranty support of the equipment, in accordance with prescribed technical specifications and government guidelines.

The initiative is aimed at strengthening digital education in the state by establishing reliable and scalable computing infrastructure in schools. The project is scheduled for completion by April 2026.

Through this engagement, Soma Papers & Industries—traditionally a manufacturer of coated, fluorescent, and self-copy papers—continues to diversify its operations while contributing to Punjab’s digital education ecosystem.
