The Uttar Pradesh government is launching a flatted factory project in Greater Noida with an investment of ₹125 crore, aimed at boosting the MSME (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) sector and advancing the state’s vision of becoming a USD 1 trillion economy. This initiative is a key component of the broader industrial development strategy to support both small businesses and large-scale industries.
Planned by the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA), the factory will be built in Sector 28 of Greater Noida, Gautam Buddha Nagar, on a 38,665 sq. metre plot. The multi-storey industrial complex will be designed to house multiple independent manufacturing units for activities such as production, assembly, and storage.
The facility will feature essential infrastructure including reliable power and water supply, elevators, HVAC systems, and comprehensive fire safety measures. Specifically designed for MSMEs operating in urban areas with limited space, the flatted factory aims to attract new investments, create job opportunities for local youth, and stimulate regional economic growth. Construction is slated for completion within two years.
