The Road Construction Department of Jharkhand has issued a tender for the four-laning of the Hazaribag bypass, aiming to enhance regional connectivity and road safety.
The project involves widening the existing 9.284 km stretch, strengthening the pavement, reconstructing damaged sections, and implementing comprehensive road safety measures. The upgrade covers the stretch from the starting point of the Hazaribag bypass to its endpoint on the old NH alignment.
The project is being undertaken under the Central Road Infrastructure Fund (CRIF) for the financial year 2025–26, with an estimated cost of ₹106.76 crore. The work is scheduled for completion within 18 months from the date of commencement.
The last date for bid submission is 04 August 2025.
