RMC Switchgears Lands ₹27.77 Cr Jodhpur Grid Contract

RMC Switchgears has secured a contract to construct a 132 kV grid substation (GSS) at Kaparda SEZ in Jodhpur.

The company has received a letter of intent (LoI) from Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Prasaran Nigam, with the scope covering the line-in line-out (LILO) of the 132 kV Bilara–Jhalamand line, the construction of a 132 kV single-circuit (S/C) line from Bhawad to Kirmarsariya, and the installation of bays at both GSS locations. Valued at ₹27.77 crore, the contract includes the supply of equipment and materials (excluding power transformers), as well as civil works, erection, testing, and commissioning.

The project is to be completed within 18 months and is expected to strengthen the company’s order book and support future revenue growth.
