Reddy's "Telangana Rising" Pitch: JICA's Key to Metro, Musi & More

Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has requested financial assistance from the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) to support several major urban infrastructure projects across the state.

Leading the official "Telangana Rising" delegation, Reddy highlighted a range of transformative initiatives, including Phase 2 of the Hyderabad Metro Rail, the rejuvenation of the River Musi, and the development of radial road networks connecting the Outer Ring Road (ORR) to the proposed Regional Ring Road (RRR), among other projects.

In a meeting held on Thursday with JICA Senior Vice President Shohei Hara, Reddy showcased Telangana’s pro-investment policies, the strategic strengths of Hyderabad as a global business destination, and the state’s ambitious infrastructure development agenda, according to an official statement.
