REC Funds New ₹9.06 Cr Technical Education Hub in Coimbatore

REC has funded the construction of a new Workshop and Classroom Building at the Ramakrishna Mission Technical Campus in Coimbatore, marking a significant contribution to strengthening technical education in the region.

The foundation stone for the facility was laid on 27 November 2025, in the presence of Narayanan Thirupathy, Independent Director at REC, and Immanuvel Antony Doss, Chief Manager at REC. The building, being developed at a cost of ₹9.06 crore, will feature state-of-the-art classrooms and advanced training workshops designed to enhance hands-on learning, skill development, and youth empowerment.

This initiative is part of REC’s continued commitment to promoting quality education and equipping young people with the skills needed to meet future industry demands. Speaking at the event, Narayanan Thirupathy noted, “This project will be a key driver in shaping the future of students and supporting their journey towards technical excellence."
