Ramji Das Dhal Bags ₹243 Cr Panagarh Military Housing Contract

Ramji Das Dhal Construction has emerged as the lowest bidder (L1) for a ₹243 crore housing project at Panagarh Military Station in West Bengal, awarded by the Military Engineer Services (MES).

The contract involves the design and construction of 736 married accommodation units for defence personnel, comprising 82 units for Junior Commissioned Officers (JCOs) and 654 for Other Ranks (ORs). This initiative forms Phase III of a larger, three-phase residential development plan at Panagarh, which will ultimately deliver a total of 1,150 dwelling units (DUs).

The project is part of a broader effort to enhance living conditions for army personnel stationed at this strategically important base and reflects the government's continued focus on strengthening infrastructure at key defence locations.
