Power Grid Corporation of India (PGCIL) has successfully commissioned its wholly owned subsidiary, POWERGRID Raipur Pool Dhamtari Transmission, on 26 March 2025.
The project was awarded through the tariff-based competitive bidding (TBCB) process—an open, transparent approach that promotes efficiency by encouraging competition among public and private sector participants.
This commissioning marks a significant milestone in PGCIL’s mission to expand and reinforce India's transmission infrastructure. It reflects the company’s continued commitment to supporting the national objective of delivering reliable, efficient, and cost-effective power across the country.
