PTC Industries Wins Big DRDO GTRE Turbine Blade Contract

PTC Industries has received a purchase order from the Gas Turbine Research Establishment (GTRE), a laboratory under the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), for the manufacturing of single-crystal ‘ready-to-fit’ turbine blades and vanes.

The contract underscores PTC’s advanced manufacturing capabilities in India and leverages the expertise of its UK-based subsidiary, Trac Precision Solutions, to ensure high-quality, precision-engineered components. The order involves post-cast operations essential for the production of aerospace-grade turbine blades, designed to meet GTRE’s stringent technical specifications.

Execution will be carried out within the agreed project timelines, in close alignment with GTRE’s performance and delivery requirements.

This order marks a significant milestone for PTC Industries, reinforcing its position as a key player in India’s aerospace and defence manufacturing ecosystem and strengthening its global supply chain integration through collaboration with its UK subsidiary.
