Praxair India has announced an investment of Rs 210 crore over the next three years to establish liquid oxygen and nitrogen production units in Karnataka.
The company formalised this plan through a memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed with the Karnataka State Government on 27 November 2025. The investment will commence in the current financial year. Karnataka’s Minister for Large & Medium Industries, MB Patil, affirmed that the government will extend priority support, including land allocation, single-window clearances, and necessary infrastructure.
During his official visit to the UK, Minister Patil also met with companies such as Helix Geospace, specialising in aerospace and defence technologies, and Oxford Space Systems, a satellite antenna manufacturer.
Additionally, he discussed the development of a ‘UK Tech Park’ in KWIN City with India’s High Commissioner to the UK, Vikram Doraiswami. Patil noted, “The State Government is committed to supporting these initiatives to boost industrial growth.”
