AB Energia has launched a wholly-owned subsidiary, AVIISII Electric Systems, to manufacture fixed-tilt steel mounting structures for ground-mounted solar power plants—a strategic move aimed at enhancing quality control and operational efficiency.
Mounting structures typically account for 7–8% of total EPC costs (approximately Rs 18–20 lakh per MWp). By internalising this key component, AB Energia expects to improve cost management, ensure timely delivery, and strengthen structural reliability across its solar EPC portfolio.
AVIISII Electric Systems will not only support AB Energia’s in-house projects but also supply to third-party contractors, creating a new revenue stream. According to Siddharth Bhatia, Managing Director of AB Energia Solutions, “Mounting structures form the backbone of any solar plant—impacting performance, safety, and longevity. AVIISII will deliver robust, precision-engineered solutions built to withstand demanding environmental conditions.”
The initiative marks a significant step in AB Energia’s growth strategy and reinforces its competitive edge in India’s expanding solar energy market.
