Stovekraft, renowned for its brands such as Pigeon, is strategically expanding its retail presence in the northern region to solidify its position across India. With a target to establish 300 to 350 standalone stores nationwide by the conclusion of the upcoming financial year, the kitchen appliance company aims to tap into the growing demand for branded products, particularly in smaller towns and rural areas.
Focusing on a company-owned and company-operated model, Stovekraft distributes its products through various channels, including general trade stores, modern trade stores, and online platforms. As of the beginning of the December quarter, the company successfully operated around 125 stores.
The initiative commenced with the inauguration of exclusive brand stores in Delhi-NCR, and the expansion will gradually encompass the entire northern region while maintaining a continuous addition of stores in the southern region. In addition to the cookware segment, the appliance sector emerges as a robust foundation for future growth.
Simultaneously, Stovekraft is keen on enhancing its export activities, aiming to elevate the contribution to approximately 20 percent of its overall business. The company is actively collaborating with retailers in the North American region and is poised to diversify its product portfolio for a broader market reach.
