Panna Development Drive: CM Inaugurates ₹106 Crore Projects

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav today inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for a series of development projects worth ₹106.15 crore during a public program held at 3 PM in Panna district.

As part of the event, projects worth ₹23.73 crore were formally inaugurated, including nine key works such as water supply schemes under the Jal Jeevan Mission in Gadhokhar, Bilha Surdaha, and Tikaria. The Chief Minister also flagged off the upgradation of the Makrandganj–Hardwahi–Gunour road, undertaken by the Public Works Department (PWD).

In Amanganj Nagar Parishad, several civic infrastructure initiatives were unveiled, including boundary walls for solid waste management, drainage systems, and a sports stadium.

Foundation stone-laying ceremonies included:

₹5.26 crore Janpad Panchayat building, CC roads and a new main entrance at the Collectorate premises, An AYUSH dispensary in Madla, Road infrastructure upgrades in Barwara–Gunour, Hirapur–Biharasar, and Madain–Biharasar

New buildings for the SDM office in Ajaygarh and government colleges in Devendra Nagar and Khora

The Chief Minister’s visit underscores the state government’s continued focus on rural infrastructure, healthcare, education, and urban development, aiming to improve the quality of life across the Panna region.
