OIL’s Green Push: 125 TPD Biogas Plant Tender for Jorhat

Oil India Limited (OIL) has floated a tender for establishing a 125 tonne per day (TPD) mixed municipal solid waste-based compressed biogas (CBG) plant at Jorhat, Assam, on a commercial basis.

This initiative is part of Oil India’s broader efforts to promote sustainable and clean energy solutions, reinforcing the company’s commitment to environmental stewardship and the expansion of green energy infrastructure in India.

The proposed plant will be developed in line with the latest Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) guidelines and will comply with the standards required for qualification under the ‘Blue’ category.

The deadline for bid submission is November 12, 2025.
