The long-anticipated Noida International Airport at Jewar, Uttar Pradesh, is set to commence operations on 30 October 2025, as announced by Union Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu.
Following multiple delays, the airport will begin by handling passenger flights to 10 major Indian cities, including Bengaluru, Kolkata, Hyderabad, and Mumbai. This launch marks a major milestone in Uttar Pradesh’s infrastructure development, aimed at boosting regional connectivity, easing congestion at Delhi Airport, and strengthening India’s aviation network.
Industry experts view Jewar Airport as a future aviation hub, well-positioned to handle both domestic and international operations. Designed with a focus on modern infrastructure and scalability, the airport is expected to play a pivotal role in accommodating India’s growing air traffic and promoting economic development in the region.
