NHAI Launches Major ₹4,962 Cr. Odisha Coastal Highway Bid

The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has issued tenders for the construction of an access-controlled coastal highway in Odisha under two packages on the Hybrid Annuity Mode (HAM).

Package I covers the Rameshwnar–Konark sectio (km 0 to km 79.400) and includes rehabilitation, upgradation, and widening of the existing highway to four lanes. The scope includes new pavement construction, rehabilitation of the existing pavement, and the development or restoration of bridges, culverts, interchanges, intersections, drains, and related infrastructure. The project is valued at ₹3,320.89 crore.

Package II invites bids for the Konark–Paradeep stretch (km 79.400 to km 160.180), a total length of 80.78 km, to be developed as a coastal highway with paved shoulders. This HAM contract is valued at ₹1,640.71 crore.

The bid submission deadline for both packages is 14 January 2026.
