New Tracks: Texmaco Rail Secures ₹57.15 Cr Rolling Stock Order

Texmaco Rail & Engineering has secured a Rs 57.15 crore contract from Vedanta Aluminium for the supply and commissioning of specialised railway rolling stock.

The order includes two BTAP rakes and two BVCM wagons, further strengthening Texmaco’s presence in the industrial logistics and specialised freight solutions segment. The contract adds significantly to the company’s order book for the current quarter and highlights its ongoing association with leading metal and manufacturing companies.

Project execution will be carried out in two phases. The first phase involves delivery of one rake comprising 53 wagons along with one BVCM wagon within six months from the effective date of the contract. The second phase, consisting of another 53-wagon rake and one additional BVCM wagon, is scheduled for completion and commissioning within eight months.

The latest order reinforces Texmaco’s expertise in manufacturing specialised wagons and underlines its strong capabilities in supporting India’s railway logistics and bulk material transportation requirements.
