New Energy Milestone: RECPDCL Hands Over Sakoli Project

REC Power Development and Consultancy (RECPDCL) has successfully transferred its project-specific special purpose vehicle, Sakoli Power Transmission, to Ashoka Buildcon. Secured through a tariff-based competitive bidding process, this intra-state project in Maharashtra will be executed on a build, own, operate, and transfer (BOOT) basis.

Scheduled for completion within 24 months, the project involves building a new 400/220/132 kV AIS substation alongside essential civil and electrical infrastructure. Once operational, the development will significantly bolster Maharashtra's regional power network, enhance grid stability, and ensure reliable electricity supply to designated districts.
