Neenjas Electric x YEIDA: A ₹169Cr Leap for Indian EV Tech

The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has issued a letter of intent to Neenjas Electric for the allotment of a 20,000 sq. metre industrial plot in Sector 8D, near the upcoming Noida International Airport.

The proposed facility will manufacture on-board electric vehicle (EV) chargers and solar power banks, strengthening India’s domestic capabilities in high-capacity power electronics and renewable energy storage. Neenjas Electric plans to develop products for two-wheelers, three-wheelers, and light commercial vehicles, with a focus on high IP-rated on-board chargers and advanced solar power bank systems designed for Indian operating conditions.

YEIDA CEO Rakesh Kumar Singh formally handed over the letter of intent to Neenjas Electric Managing Director Vineet Gupta, stating that the Yamuna Expressway region is being positioned as a major hub for EV and allied manufacturing. He added that such investments will support local employment generation and contribute to India’s clean energy transition.

The project is expected to attract an investment of approximately ₹169 crore, further reinforcing the region’s growing importance in electric mobility and renewable energy manufacturing.
