The National Dairy Development Board (NDDB) has awarded a contract to Nandi Associates for carrying out civil, structural, water supply, sanitary, and other associated works for the 5 LLPD mega dairy plant project in Davanagere, Karnataka.
The scope of work includes internal electrification, construction of a compound wall, approach road, security building, entrance gate, and other allied facilities required for the plant’s operational readiness. The project is a key part of the country’s dairy infrastructure expansion aimed at increasing milk processing capacity and supporting regional agricultural development.
Under the contract, Nandi Associates will ensure high-quality construction and timely completion of the civil, structural, and electrical works. The development is expected to enhance the plant’s operational efficiency while providing modern infrastructure for dairy processing.
The initiative reflects NDDB’s continued efforts to build world-class facilities that improve milk collection, processing, and distribution capabilities, thereby supporting the growth of India’s dairy sector and generating employment opportunities in the region.
