The National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) has completed the Detailed Project Report (DPR) for the Namo Bharat RRTS corridor, a ₹15,000-crore project designed to offer high-speed, low-emission transit across the National Capital Region (NCR).
The 61-km corridor will link Gurugram, Faridabad, and Noida, easing congestion and reducing pollution in the region. Project construction is scheduled to begin in December 2026, with completion expected in 4.5 years. Key stations are planned at IFFCO Chowk and Brig. Osman Chowk in Gurugram; Bata Chowk and Badkhal Enclave in Faridabad; Sector-142 in Noida; and Surajpur Junction in Greater Noida.
Operations will start with 10 six-coach trains, each capable of carrying up to 1,928 passengers. Ridership is projected at 3.84 lakh passengers per day by 2031, increasing to 8.53 lakh per day by 2054, underscoring the corridor’s long-term role in transforming urban mobility across the NCR.
