Infrastructure major NCC has received two work orders totaling ₹10,805 crore from Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) for the BharatNet project. These contracts encompass the design, supply, construction, installation, upgradation, operation, and maintenance of the middle-mile network across multiple telecom circles. The first order, valued at ₹2,647 crore, is for the Uttarakhand telecom circle, while the second, worth ₹8,157 crore, covers Madhya Pradesh, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, and Daman & Diu.
This initiative, under BharatNet, aims to enhance broadband connectivity in rural and remote areas, further strengthening NCC’s contribution to national infrastructure development.
Additionally, NCC has secured a ₹2,129 crore contract from the Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority for construction work in the Amaravati Capital City Project.
