NCC Secures ₹2,090.5 Crore Bihar Reservoir Project

NCC Ltd. has received a Letter of Award (LoA) from the Water Resources Department, Government of Bihar, for the construction of the Barner Reservoir Scheme in Jamui district.

The project scope includes the construction of the Barner reservoir, dam structures, irrigation channels, and other associated infrastructure, aimed at strengthening regional water management and expanding irrigation capacity to support agricultural activities.

Valued at approximately ₹2,090.5 crore, the contract will be executed over a period of 30 months, followed by a 60-month Defect Liability Period (DLP) to ensure quality and long-term structural integrity.

This project marks a significant investment in Bihar’s irrigation infrastructure, enhancing water storage, improving distribution efficiency, and bolstering the agricultural economy in the region.
