Mumbai’s Drones Take Off: The New CoE at ITI Govandi

Gurugram-based AVPL International has set up a Drone Centre of Excellence (CoE) at Government ITI Govandi in Mumbai in partnership with the Telecom Sector Skill Council (TSSC), aiming to equip students with practical skills in unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) technologies.

The company, which focuses on skill development, future-ready training, and indigenous drone solutions, said the facility will provide structured, hands-on training in drone operations and real-world UAV applications.

The Centre is designed to prepare students for opportunities in India’s fast-growing drone ecosystem by building industry-relevant expertise in drone technology, operations, and allied sectors.
