The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) has invited bids for the construction of a two-lane bypass with paved shoulders along National Highway 23 (NH-23), as part of the Karauli Bypass project under the Annual Plan 2024–25.
Located in Rajasthan, the project will be implemented on an EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) basis with an estimated cost of ₹272.68 crore. The scope of work includes the comprehensive rehabilitation, upgradation, and widening of the existing carriageway over a stretch of 14.331 km. Key components include construction of new pavement, major and minor bridges, culverts, road intersections, RCC drains with covers, and other associated civil infrastructure.
The project has a construction timeline of 48 months. Upon completion, a five-year maintenance period will follow, covering the defect liability obligations.
The deadline for bid submission is 02 June 2025.
