The Maharashtra government has signed Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) totaling ₹42,893 crore with leading companies to advance data centre infrastructure and solar energy development across the state. The agreements are expected to generate over 28,500 jobs, reinforcing Maharashtra’s position as a key hub for digital and renewable energy ecosystems in India.
The initiative includes eight MoUs and two strategic agreements, notably a partnership with the UK to attract foreign investment. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis assured full government support to facilitate timely and efficient project execution.
Key investments include:
Jupiter International: ₹10,900 crore in solar panel manufacturing, creating 8,308 jobs, Rochak Systems: ₹2,508 crore data centre, 1,000 jobs,, Rovison Tech Hub: ₹2,564 crore data centre, 1,100 jobs, Webmint Digital: ₹4,846 crore data centre, 2,050 jobs, Wow Iron & Steel: ₹4,300 crore investment, 1,500 jobs in the steel sector, LNK Green Energy: ₹4,700 crore in green energy, 2,500 jobs, Atlas Copco: ₹575 crore in industrial equipment, 3,400 jobs, Prestige Estate Projects: ₹12,500 crore across data centres, logistics, and real estate
These investments signal Maharashtra’s strong push toward sustainable industrial growth, job creation, and technological advancement.
