Madhya Pradesh has received approval for a ₹2,100-crore PM Mega Integrated Textile Region and Apparel (PM MITRA) Park — a landmark initiative set to revolutionize the state's textile industry.
Spread over 2,100 acres in Bhainsola village, Badnawar tehsil, Dhar district, the park will feature state-of-the-art infrastructure, including a 20 MLD zero liquid discharge (ZLD) plant, a solar-powered energy facility, and plug-and-play built-to-suit (BTS) manufacturing units. Residential complexes for workers will also be developed, ensuring comprehensive support infrastructure.
This is India’s first approved integrated textile park under the PM MITRA scheme, marking a significant milestone for Madhya Pradesh. The project aims to enhance India’s competitiveness in the global textile market while catalyzing regional industrial growth. With construction expected to be completed within 14 months, the park is anticipated to create substantial employment opportunities and attract major investments.
Chief Minister Mohan Yadav announced that the state has already received investment proposals worth ₹10,000 crore, highlighting strong industry interest. The park’s strategic location near key industrial and transport hubs further strengthens its potential as a textile manufacturing powerhouse.
