Luminous Sparks a Rs 2,000 Crore Green Revolution

Luminous Power Technologies is investing Rs 2,000 crore over the next five years to scale up its solar manufacturing and energy storage capabilities. Led by MD and CEO Vivek Abrol, the strategic roadmap centers on expanding solar operations, building proprietary technology, and strengthening core inverter and battery lines. Key milestones include a 1.2 GW solar cell plant in Gopalpur, Odisha, a new advanced energy storage facility, and the recently operational 500 MWh lithium-ion facility in Baddi, Himachal Pradesh.
