Livasa Hospitals is set to invest ₹360 crore to establish a new 368-bed multi-speciality tertiary care hospital in Ludhiana, Punjab, further strengthening the state’s position as a major healthcare hub in North India.
Located at Sherpur Chowk along the National Highway, the hospital will offer convenient access for patients from Ludhiana and nearby districts. The project is being developed in collaboration with Primewalk Infra and supported by the India Resurgence Fund. It will span over 9,500 square yards with a built-up area of more than 2.3 lakh sq. ft., and construction will be completed in phases over the next 18 months.
The facility will provide advanced, technology-driven healthcare across more than 38 medical specialties, including cardiology, oncology, neurology, gastroenterology, nephrology, orthopaedics, and critical emergency services.
Livasa Hospitals, which already operates facilities in Mohali, Amritsar, SBS Nagar, Hoshiarpur, and Khanna, plans to expand its total bed capacity in Punjab to nearly 2,000. The new project reflects growing institutional confidence in the state’s healthcare ecosystem and aims to significantly enhance regional medical infrastructure.
