The Kerala Water Authority (KWA) has initiated the tendering process to upgrade aging sewer lines across 11 locations in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala.
The project involves rehabilitating existing infrastructure and replacing sewer pipes older than 25 years with larger-diameter alternatives. This initiative aims to increase network capacity, streamline maintenance access, and effectively manage growing sewage volumes driven by residential development. Following recent administrative approval, physical work is slated to begin upon the conclusion of tendering and site mobilization.
