KP Group has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Gujarat to develop renewable energy projects valued at ₹4,000 crore. The agreement was signed on January 12, 2026, at the Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference.
The MoU covers a total installed capacity of 855 MW, comprising solar and wind–solar hybrid power projects to be developed across multiple locations in Gujarat, including Devbhumi Dwarka and Kutch. The proposed portfolio includes a 200 MW solar project, a 405 MW solar project, and two ISTS-connected wind–solar hybrid projects with capacities of 100 MW and 150 MW.
The projects will be implemented in a phased manner, subject to statutory approvals, and are expected to generate more than 4,000 employment opportunities. The Government of Gujarat will support KP Group by facilitating the required permissions and regulatory clearances.
This collaboration underscores KP Group’s commitment to strengthening Gujarat’s renewable energy infrastructure and supporting the state’s clean energy transition. Founded in 1994, KP Group is a leading player in renewable energy and infrastructure development.
