Chief Secretary V. Srinivas reviewed the ongoing progress of the Kota-Bundi Greenfield Airport project, directing all stakeholder departments to accelerate development and ensure completion by October 2027.
The upcoming infrastructure project features a terminal designed to accommodate approximately two million passengers per year. To support sustainable operations, the layout includes a 1 MWp ground-mounted solar power plant—set to supply nearly 25% of the airport's annual energy requirement—and a 250 KLD sewage treatment plant. Departments have been ordered to execute key construction tasks simultaneously to stay on schedule.
