Kodangal Gets Its Industrial Park: 850 Acres, ₹210 Cr. Investment.

A multipurpose industrial park is proposed to be developed in the Kodangal Assembly constituency, represented by Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, with the aim of promoting industrial growth and employment in the region.

The Telangana Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (TGIIC) has completed the planning and documentation for the project, which is currently awaiting statutory clearances. As per the pre-feasibility report, the industrial park will cover 849.6 acres across Hakeempet, Polepally and Lagcherla villages in Dudyal mandal of Vikarabad district. Once approvals are secured, the project is expected to be completed within one to two years.

TGIIC will invest ₹210 crore to develop core infrastructure, including internal roads, water and power supply networks, and wastewater treatment facilities. The park is planned to accommodate a wide mix of industries such as AAC brick manufacturing, automobiles, ceramics, pharmaceuticals and steel re-rolling units, along with lead-acid battery, textile, dairy and other allied industries. According to TGIIC, the project is expected to significantly boost industrial activity and generate employment opportunities in the region.
