Khilari Infrastructure has emerged as the lowest (L1) bidder for the survey, design, and execution of the Sewerage Scheme for Dal Lake Uncovered Areas – Pollution Abatement Project in Kashmir, Jammu & Kashmir.
Commissioned by the Urban Environmental Engineering Department (UEED) of J&K, the contract is valued at ₹279.99 crore and will be executed on an EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) fixed-cost turnkey basis. The project includes a five-year operation and maintenance period following the successful completion of a six-month free trial run.
The overall completion timeline is 30 months, excluding the trial run, and is followed by a 24-month Defect Liability Period (DLP) to ensure quality and sustainability.
This initiative is a critical step toward improving the environmental health of the Dal Lake region by curbing pollution and modernizing the sewerage infrastructure. It forms part of broader efforts to support sustainable urban development and ecological preservation in Kashmir.
