Kernex Wins Big: ₹2,465 Crore KAVACH Boost

Kernex Microsystems (India) has secured a major order from Chittaranjan Locomotive Works (CLW), Barddhaman, valued at ₹2,465.71 crore.

The contract entails the supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of 3,024 sets of On-board KAVACH Loco Equipment, in accordance with RDSO Specification No. RDSO/SPN/196/2020, Version 4.0, or the latest applicable version. Scheduled for completion within 12 months from the date of the purchase order, the project reinforces Kernex’s presence in the railway safety sector and enhances its revenue visibility.

The KAVACH system plays a critical role in ensuring safety across Indian Railways. Its large-scale deployment further strengthens Kernex’s reputation as a provider of advanced technological solutions for the railway industry.
